Questions
- Is a buyer rebate legal in California?
- Yes. California permits rebates to buyers, and it's disclosed to your lender and shown on the closing statement. Nothing about it is hidden.
- Can I take it as cash?
- Sometimes, partly. Most lenders apply a credit to your closing costs first and limit what can come back as cash. Your lender decides, not us — which is why we say "up to".
- What's the catch?
- There isn't one, but there is a trade. You do more of the legwork than you would with a traditional agent — scheduling, being at the house, making decisions. We do the licensed parts and the paperwork. If you'd rather hand over all of it, Full Service at $4,999 is that.
- When do I pay?
- At closing, out of escrow. Nothing up front, and if the home doesn't sell you owe nothing at all.
- Is this a real licensed agent?
- Yes. A licensed California agent under Premier Agency, DRE #02240990, with a written agreement that says exactly what's included.
